Dreamer by Design

That's me, Sarina Arnold, founder and designer of Jewels For You.

Jewels For You is my creative calling. I want my jewellery to make women feel a little more confident, a little more themselves; With my jewellery collections, I combine what drives and inspires me with my passion for design.

How it all began ...

Jewels For You journey began in 2012. It might sound clichéd, but the inspiration for Jewels For You came to me in a dream. It wasn't entirely painless, either. The flowers around my neck regularly tormented me in my sleep. My friend Alexandra encouraged me to capture the idea and make something more of it. We began with a small idea but, with Drop and Leaf, we are now launching our sixth and seventh collections. I hope both of them will bring as much joy as my earlier collections.

What helps me ...

My two children Felice and Lean and my husband Raphael are the most important things in my life. They’re my motivation, my top three reasons for dragging myself out of bed in the morning, my raison d’être, as the French so wonderfully put it.

What drives me ...

My modelling career, the desire to travel, inspiration from friends, good food, my love of aesthetics and design and the urge to express myself creatively. A lot of this has become part of Jewels For You, of which I'm very proud.

My journey ...

I’m originally from the canton of Uri in Switzerland. I was born on 12 September 1980 in Altdorf and grew up in Attinghausen. When I was 16 years old, my mother signed me up with Swiss Elite Model Look. I think it’s my naive curiosity that’s taken me far in the modelling industry. And I don't mean that in the sense of famous labels or covers, but the experiences I get to have, the people I meet, and the places I’ve become acquainted with.

More value ...

With my Felice collection, I support the Zuversicht für Kinder Foundation, for whom I also act as an ambassador, by donating money from sales. As the mother of a child who was born with a cleft lip and palate, supporting the foundation’s important work is something that matters to me a great deal.
